Like imperial stouts? Try this now!!! We played around with chocolate bitters and coffee infused bourbon to get more interesting results.
Chill a tumbler (in the freezer for about 20min).
Add 0.25oz vanilla extract to a shaker (without ice).
Add 0.75oz maple syrup.
Add 0.5oz molasses.
Add a pinch of cayenne or chili pepper.
Add 1.5oz sweet vermouth.
Add 2oz bourbon.
Optionally (exclude for vegans) add 1 egg white and dry shake for 20sec.
Add ice and shake for 20sec, then let rest for 60sec to chill.
Garnish with a vanilla bean.
